Olive Bonsai #955

Olives make great bonsai, and with the right variety they make tight growth and have small leaves.  We've specifically sourced good compact genetics for these trees and propagated and grown them to be small bonsai. They are not a named cultivar, but a Bonsaify selection from Olea europa stock. They do not often fruit and flower like larger-leaf varieties. 

Native to mediterranean climates (wet winter, dry summer), they are well adapted to hot and dry conditions.  As a small bonsai they will need regular water and fertilizer. Water as much as daily but don't keep them constantly wet. Avoid temperatures below 32F.
