European Crabapple Bonsai #738

European crabapple (Malus sylvestris) is a vigorous grower with a leaves that reduce significantly as a bonsai. Flowering and fruiting is reliable on older plants. 

We've been growing these in our operation for 5 years now and have yet to see them flower and fruit. The seed source indicated white flowers and 1" yellow fruit.

Height - About 6"
Pot - Bonsaify Ceramics, about 4"

We recommend that you fertilize regularly, and place your elm in a sunny warm location outdoors during the growing season.  All bonsai should be protected from temperatures below 28F.
