Tea anyone? Native to the southeastern United States (e.g. Florida), the caffeine-rich leaves of Yaupon Holly have a long history of being brewed and used to make a wonderful fresh tea. Light body and crisp taste with grassy afternotes. Yaupon tea is not bitter because the plant contains no tannins, so you can't over-steep it! Each bag can be used for 2-3 batches of tea.

Yaupon Holly is also grown as ornamental shrubs in landscaping, and bonsai enthusiasts appreciate them for their small shiny evergreen leaves, numerous red berries (on female plants) and small white spring flowers, and pale gray bark marked with white patches.

Read our recent blog post for more information about Yaupon Holly, and how Eric designed mini-bonsai from the intersection of Japanese and Indigenous American cultural practices across hundreds of years

Each Container of tea contains 16 tea bags, made in the USA!

Brew at 212F, steep for 5 minutes and enjoy!

Whole leaf, certified organic by QCS.
