Tiger Bark Ficus Starters

Tiger Bark Ficus (Ficus microcarpa, aka Golden Gate Ficus) is a tropical evergreen tree admired for its distinctive bark patterns and glossy leaves. The bark develops mottled markings that resemble tiger stripes, giving it an aged, textured look even when the tree is young.

Native to Southeast Asia, Tiger Bark Ficus thrives in warm climates and adapts well indoors with sufficient light. It responds quickly to pruning, producing fine branching and reducing leaf size for a refined bonsai appearance. Known for its resilience, it is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced growers.
