Kishu Juniper 1-Gallon Pre-Bonsai Stock - 'Omakase'

'Omakase' is a Japanese term that roughly means "I'll leave it up to you" and is commonly used in the US in Sushi restaurants when you'd like the chef to decide what you have based on the best available items. 

We grow many Kishu junipers in our operation and while we can photograph and post them individually, that process doesn't give the viewer much more information. 

Growth on "Kishu" is shorter and tighter in places with cool summer weather (like high elevation, or coastal).  The foliage is on the blue-green side compared to Itoigawa which is more of a bright green. 

Junipers are hardy, love full sun and can grow quickly under hot and humid conditions. Water daily during the growing season, fertilize regularly. Protect from temperatures below 32 degrees F, like all bonsai.
