Showing the characteristic oil-fired sheen of modern Japanese potter Mitunobu Ito, these pieces push the traditional Japanese ceramic aesthetic while evoking a medieval weaponry feeling or one of antique Chinese ceramics. Each piece has an ash-splash on one side. Ito is from Shikokuchuo (Ehime Prefecture, Japan).
