Long Kaneshin Bonsai Scissors

High-quality black steel made in Japan by Kaneshin. 

A large shear for slightly larger cuts and trees, or people who prefer a longer reach to their scissors. This is one of Eric's preferred scissors.

A note about cutting - scissors are intended for small branches, leaves and twigs or small roots - if you find yourself straining to cut you should probably use a different tool. Use the tip mostly for cutting leaves or tiny twigs. Use the lower part of the blades for slightly larger twigs and branches. 

A note about the tips - if you examine Kaneshin scissors closely you may notice that the tip appears to be slightly mis-aligned. This is an intentional part of the design of high-quality bonsai scissors - it ensures that the tip will cut as efficiently as the rest of the scissor rather than just grasping the plant tissue like a tweezer.
