This mame Kishu juniper from Eric's Private Reserve Collection has been carefully refined to highlight the movement, deadwood, and character that make junipers among the most enduring subjects in bonsai.
The species is prized for its naturally compact foliage, exceptional vigor, and ability to develop into refined bonsai with dense pads and elegant branch structure. Its tight growth habit and rich green foliage have made it one of Eric's favorite juniper varieties to develop over the years.
Care
Kishu junipers thrive outdoors in full sun and appreciate regular watering and fertilization throughout the growing season. Allow the soil to approach dryness between waterings, but do not let it remain dry for extended periods. Protect from temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
