Japanese Snowbell Starters

Japanese Snowbell (Styrax japonica) is a deciduous tree admired for its fine twigs, graceful structure, and delicate, fragrant white flowers that bloom in late spring. A popular choice for shohin bonsai, it develops refined branch ramification and a beautiful winter silhouette with age. The training techniques are substantially similar to Chinese elm.
