Namako means Sea Cucumber in Japanese and is the name of a glaze that shares a similar pattern and coloring as the marine animal. This shohin oval bonsai pot is an early work of Haruyoshi ((real name Yoshiaki Azeyanagi), who developed his own unique style and is known for making stunning glazed pots. He opened his own kiln in Anjo in 2004 and is considered one of the current masters of painted Japanese pottery.
