Eric Schrader Dark ash-splashed Hexagon #1
In this series of hand-carved hexagonal pots, Eric has made no two pots the same, with each having slightly different details, size and features. Created from small blocks of wet clay through a successive carving technique inspired by mame-pot makers in Japan. High fired and with a light ash splash, these are perfect for many types of conifers.
A slightly fancy rim and rounded cut-in vertices lends a fancy feeling to this pot. There is some hand-carved irregularity to the piece.
