Make a bonsai tree and take home your own living art! During this two hour class, we'll dispel myths and share secrets about these captivating living sculptures. You'll learn how to select a tree and pot, how to style a bonsai tree, and how to take care of your tree at home. Classes are great for beginners and experienced plant parents alike.

Join us at Barebottle for a hands-on bonsai class featuring Ficus trees (March-May), perfect for beginners and seasoned plant lovers alike.

Great Class/Bad Venue

The class I attended at Barebottle was fun, but entirely too noisy to even be considered a class. A live jazz band didn’t help. The class ended 25 minutes early since we really couldn’t hear the speaker.

Thanks for your review! I think this was the first time we held the class in the main part of Barebottle brewing - we normally hold it in a side room that is much less noisy. We also hold classes at Heron's head center if you want a quieter experience.
If you're serious about learning bonsai you may want to also consider our small group Bring-Your-Own-Tree classes that we do at our house in Bernal Heights.

it was a party

A friend organized a big group (20+) to take a class together and Bonsaify accommodated us all. The class was easy to follow and I learned a lot. Bonsaify brought all the materials, answered our questions and provided hands on assistance with each plant. Best part was sharing the moments together with friends over drinks at the brewery.

Triple Fun

Love their choice of location for the class; very educational; a prize to take home and (hopefully) have forever!! 4 weeks out I'm talking to my bonsai everyday and praying that the new little leaves will hold firm. I'm ready for class #2!!!

We had such a wonderful time at this bonsai class. The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. My husband have taken our new bonsai home and obsessed with how to care for it. The aftercare articles are very descriptive and easy to understand. They even have you tube videos too. Thank you so much!!
