Basic Bonsai Scissors

A beautifully crafted Japanese bonsai shear, these scissors are the first tool that you'll need and the one you'll use the most. These Kaneshin bonsai scissors are sharp, have a narrow tip to reach into tight spaces, and can be sharpened many times for long life. 

SK grade Carbon Steel means that this edge is less likely to break than many scissors. Riveted junction provides smooth but tight action. Comfortable in small to large hands (yeah, we tried it!)

A note about the tips - if you examine Kaneshin scissors closely you may notice that the tip appears to be slightly mis-aligned. This is an intentional part of the design of high quality bonsai scissors - it ensures that the tip will cut as efficiently as the rest of the scissor rather than just grasping the plant tissue like a tweezer.
