Arakawa Shino-Ash Small Mokko Round

Made of a brown clay body, splashed with a bit of wood ash and shino glaze this pot has a ton of charactier with irregular drips, bumps and a band above the feet. 

Interior Dimensions ~4.5-5" diameter (variable due to indentations), 2.5" deep.

Thomas Arakawa was born and raised in Japan, and came to the United States at the age of 19. For Thomas, the process of making pottery is affirmation of his Japanese heritage and American influences.
