Kishu Juniper Two-Year-Old Pre-Wired Bonsai Starters
Would you love to grown your own bonsai trees, but don't want to start from seed or cutting? Our Kishu junipers are 2-4 years old from cutting.
Kishu are among the best junipers for bonsai, with tight delicate foliage that creates heavenly clouds almost by itself. The runners (strong central shoots) are used to make branches and trunks. Wood production is faster in hotter climates.
These are in 3.3" plastic containers with multiple branches. The central stem has been wired and bent into an interesting shape. The trees shown are a typical example, trunk size is up to 3/16" (about the size of a standard pencil) approximate height - 3-4" The photos are representative, and do not show the actual tree. The number of trees you will receive is based on the option you select. 1=1 tree (not a pair.)
These trees are treated like young bonsai, including root work, but they will easily grow and improve in your care!

Everything I’ve ordered from bonsaify has exceeded expectations in terms of quality, health, and age/size. I bought 6 of these starters a month or so ago and was blown away by the size of them. Seemed like a level up from the Kishu starters I ordered last spring (which were great as well)! Immediately wired and potted-up 4 of them to 1 gallon grow bags with perlite/coir, and kept 2 in their original containers. Ordering a couple more as I type this
These are a nice size for the price. This is my second time buying these and have about a dozen. I've put them in bigger pots using perlite and pine bark as soil and they are very happy here in Atlanta Georgia.
