Flex your creative muscles! We have overstock of our 2020 and 2021 spring-start Japanese black pines from our grow operation! We deem these "Seconds" to be not as desirable as our primary offerings, and the pricing reflects this. They will need more work from you to improve their potential.

These are in 3.3" plastic containers. We will not ship unhealthy plants, but the "seconds" plants you receive may have imperfections.  Imperfections may or may not include:  minor wire scars, missing side branching, small splits, cutback central leaders, no bends, poor root displays, smaller trunks, etc.

The photos are representative, and do not show the actual trees you will receive.

BONUS: you have a young tree and want to make it into a bonsai - but how do you begin? It's so exciting to start a bonsai from scratch, and in this videoEric demonstrates three examples of what you can do with a two year old Japanese Black Pine bonsai starter. "Think of all the steps of bonsai design with the end point in mind!"
