Eric Schrader Dark ash-splashed Hexagon #9
In this series of hand-carved hexagonal pots, Eric has made no two pots the same, with each having slightly different details, size and features. Created from small blocks of wet clay through a successive carving technique inspired by mame-pot makers in Japan. High fired and with a light ash splash, these are perfect for many types of conifers.
Slight angling to the edges with some carving marks remaining, this pot sits in the aesthetic gap between a drum or elegant hexagon and a namban. Slightly irregular.
Interior 3.25" across , 1.1" deep.
