'Kojo-No-Mai' - Dwarf Contorted Fuji Cherry Bonsai Starters

The 'Kojo No Mai' contorted dwarf Fuji Cherry (Prunus incisa 'Kojo No Mai') is a deciduous tree prized for its elegant growth habit, fine-toothed foliage, and profuse spring blossoms. With consistently smaller leaves than normal cherries this is a all-around winner as a bonsai. In early spring, expect a cascade of soft pink to white flowers and much more profuse blooming than many other cherry varieties. Largely fruitless.

Twigs are naturally contorted (example has NOT been wired) and leaves are much smaller than a regular Fuji Cherry - about 1". As with many dwarf varieties - the trunks are slow to bulk up even while growing in the ground.
