Eimei Yozan Kiln Dark Glazed Deep Oval Bonsai Pot

While Eimei - Hideaki Shimizu, is the son of a famous Japanese potter (Youzan), he's made a name for himself separate from his father. His awards include winning the small bowl category at Gafu-ten (the largest and most prestigious small-size bonsai exhibition, held in Japan). He's based in Tokoname, and his work is very popular. This deep oval bonsai pot has a signature glaze and comes complete with a marked box. It came to us from a private collection.
