Baby Japanese Black Pine Cone Planting
As these baby Japanese Black Pine trees grow, they develop and mature into a beautiful bonsai planting.
These are two young (1-year-old) Japanese Black Pines growing out of the pine cone. Choose between two planting options (both in fine bonsai soil):
- unglazed ceramic container by Mitsunoba Ito
- glazed ceramic container by Thomas Arakawa
Notes: Pine cones move! The trunks of these trees may be tilted one way or another by the expansion or contraction of the pine cone scales. These are real pine cones, they will slowly decompose over the coming years while the trees get bigger.
