Arakawa Deep Elongated Rectangles
These elongated rectangles were actually a design mistake! But, they look great nonetheless. Useful for unusual slant, raft or forest style compositions, note that the front-back dimension will make them harder to use for some upright trees. Only two available in "Waterlillies" glaze and one in the dark-bodied, ash-splashed finish.
12" wide, 5" front-back and 1.75" deep.
Interior: 11.25" x 3.5" (some variation due to walls being a bit bowed.)
Thomas Arakawa was born and raised in Japan, and came to the United States at the age of 19. For Thomas, the process of making pottery is affirmation of his Japanese heritage and American influences.
